Opportunity Academy

Opportunity Academy is a San Diego–based nonprofit dedicated to equipping young people with the tools, support, and opportunities to lead confidently and engage meaningfully in their communities. We serve youth of all backgrounds and life experiences, with an intentional focus on uplifting girls and young women from disenfranchised communities.

Through a holistic model grounded in leadership, mentorship, therapeutic support, and civic engagement, Opportunity Academy empowers youth, including those facing systemic and situational barriers, to grow as leaders and active contributors. Athletics serves as one of several pathways to connection, development, and belonging, not the destination, but the gateway.
